Before choosing Mortimers Blackburn in order to sell my Mum's house, we had visits from a total of 4 estate agents. Mortimers' fees were slightly higher. However, I feel we have had extremely good value as the service has been superb. Joanne Waddington was the person who took care of our sale. She was lovely from the start - warm, friendly and human, while also being professional and knowledgeable - and she always did her utmost to help. The service felt very personal, and it seemed Joanne was always there for us, and a very safe pair of hands. On the few occasions when Joanne could not be available, Veda was similarly warm, well-informed about our case and always helpful - the sharing of information and culture of caring meant there were never any gaps. We were kept well informed throughout, both by phone and email; my emails were answered quickly, as were phone calls.
