I unfortunately signed a lease without peeking at Google reviews, a mistake I deeply regret. Belvoir’s behaviour was less than honest, laced with power moves that left me feeling more than just a little bit cheated. My later experiences were particularly disheartening, echoed by reviews that brand them as "bullies" and dishonest. One example: after moving out, I received a demand for daily rent for every day I did not return a mistakenly held communal door key and building fob. (We did not have access to the flat.) They claimed this was preventing the next tenant from moving in, yet the property remained unoccupied and listed for another month and a half. I went in and spoke to them in person, and this was not the standard procedure that Reiss was not following. This episode alone was one of the many experiences I had to sour my opinion of Belvoir, and I feel compelled to warn others. In a difficult market for tenants that seems to reward poor customer service and care , Belvoir’s level of incompetence and unpleasantness is something to be wary of. There were many examples of the above that I will continue to add on over the next few weeks. They have simply been an incredibly frustrating company to work with. Edit: I did not in the end have to pay for the daily rate in fairness to Major. However, I still just hand an awful experience with them and their service which still demand such a low review. Please do believe the other reviews, just not mine, and in some cases even their responses to reviews tell you a lot about the company and how they are run.

Raynaldo, It is a shame you have felt the need to leave this review after vacating the property over four months ago. Belvoir did in fact go above and beyond here to ensure the facilitation of a move out for both you and Nigel from the property here as it was explained in length that we do not conduct 'tenancy swaps'. We was then in fact given the 'run around' to put it lightly from you both who wished to put another tenant on the tenancy whom sadly did fail the referencing procedure. When you did finally return keys it was noted you didn't return the parking fob/communal keys and this was put across to you as soon as possible along with the costs of a replacement. We do normally have to charge daily rent until all keys/fobs are returned but we did in fact waiver this but of course this is not mentioned in your review. It then seems you want to target a specific individual here who did in fact inform you of all exact procedures and this was overseen by several other colleagues in the office at the time. Should you wish to discuss any of this further feel free to contact us at birminghamcentral@belvoir.co.uk.
