We had a terrible experience with country properties. The estate agent was incredibly pushy and patronising, and everything was rushed. We were harassed and spoken down to over the phone. We dealt with Laura, who we thought was very unprofessional in the way she spoke to us. The communication levels were very low. No help or guidance whatsoever.

Dear Brad, We pride ourselves in our customer service. We are disappointed to read your review and feel the comments about Laura being unprofessional in the way she handled the purchase to be completely unfounded. It is normal practice for a property to be removed from the market once a solicitor has been instructed. At this stage the buyer would be requested to pay for their searches and for the conveyancing process to start. Your offer was accepted on 25th November 2024 and your solicitor was only formally instructed and searches paid for on the 25th January 2025, 2 months after the offer was agreed. Our vendor became increasingly and understandably frustrated by the lack of commitment and requested that we abort the sale to yourselves and re-market their property. This is of course their choice and prerogative. The communication we have on file shows nothing but support and assistance provided from Laura in regard to the various surveys you wanted to carry out on the property. On 31st January you decided to withdraw your offer and then subsequently put forward a reduced offer. The vendors declined this and decided to re-market. All other reviews for Laura show her consistent professionalism and our clients in this matter would support this point of view.
