I have been incredibly impressed with Belvoir Basingstoke. Everyone I've seen has been brilliant, starting with Tracey who showed me my flat first. She was welcoming, informative and friendly. Upon application for the flat, I spoke to Abi who helpfully guided me through the process. I easily arranged a second viewing and met Kate, another brilliant asset to the team. Checking in was with Shahida who showed me everything I needed to know. My question around parking she wasn't sure of, so that same day I received an email with a complete answer, even including a diagram! I reported a handful of maintenance issues in my first week (I admit, most were user error!) and Andrew in this team gave me quick, useful responses, managing the solve the majority straight away. The one that required a plumber he tagged onto the existing job happening that week, may sound obvious but the amount of places I've dealt with that wouldn't use this common sense! From the moment I decided to put my house up for sale, once the first lockdown had ended, I found Jon to be very friendly and informative in delivering his professional view of starting this process and the price to put it up at whilst still taking into account my views as the householder; he took some lovely photos of my property that really showed it at its best whilst keeping it real. Sarah-Jane then took over the numerous viewings lined up which on it's first day secured an offer; Sarah-Jane kept me updated and informed as to the progress of the offer and, once accepted, Natalie was there to find solutions to situations that could have otherwise risked the sale falling through; she was definitely the right person to keep everyone calm and focused on solutions as the final stages came to a very amicable successful sale. Went to the agency in the middle of the pandemic as my previous landlord ended up in a position he had to sell his property. The viewing and arranging the property was mostly straight forward with nothing note worth pre tenancy. On the signing day, there was a lot of paperwork (Which is standard!) but included in that was a full inventory which was honest and hid nothing. Fast-forward to why I'm leaving this review, due to a misunderstanding on my end I bought my pet hamster along with me. This caused an issue when Belvior visited to see how we were settling into the property. However, they were polite, non accusatory, and swift in resolving the issue. Thanks to Shahida, the landlord was contacted and I was granted permission to keep my little buddy! I don't normally leave reviews, but the customer service was great! From meeting Jamie from Belvoir, Basingstoke, for a Probate House Valuation to Completion of the House Sale we were kept informed of progress at every stage either by telephone or mobile. All the staff at Belvoir were extremely helpful and always rang back, we never had to chase them up! The whole process was completely stress free, quite an achievement during the Pandemic!
