Howard Independent Estate Agents managed the easiest house move I've ever had. It was my first rental home with my partner, which, during Covid-19, was incredibly stressful from the get-go. The agent showed us the property on such short notice, and before we had left had organised to send us over the paperwork that very same evening. Our agent was Chris Baker, and I really can't stress enough how helpful, kind, encouraging and prompt he was with everything, even checking back in on us after our move in date to make sure we were happy in the property which was a really nice, genuine touch. He was also incredibly helpful in talking us through new guidelines and options for those on furlough pay, which my partner and I have both been on for a year now, and most other estate agents and landlords had turned their nose up at- just awful for young renters, given that the hospitality industry was hit especially hard by this pandemic. Chris didn't make any such judgements, and showed real empathy with how hard finding a home is in this difficult time. From viewing the property to receiving the keys, and all the referencing and payments in-between, the whole process was over and done with in just over a week. The best estate agents in Bristol, and once again, shout out to Chris Baker for making this such an easy experience- really a silver lining in what has been a troublesome year.
