AVOID! We were selling out house due to a separation and they have completely ignored one party. When I complained about this they discussed the complaint with my ex before even acknowledging it to me. Awful and unprofessional. AVOID

I have waited to write this review till our house sale went through with another agent. Here we go! We first used Stevens and Carters to list our house and the communication we received was absolutely terrible. Selling a house and buying another one should be an exciting time however in our instance it wasn’t 6 weeks into the process the few people we had come to look at the property were not in a proceedable position.We felt a bit of a loss about it all having seen houses sell in our area I made a trip into the office to discuss how we moved forward and was met with a very negative response. Yes I understand that they might be the market leaders in the area but that was not what I wanted to hear feeling very frustrated by the lack of communication we were receiving. We decided to move over to another estate agents and was met with a few very choice emails when giving our notice to Stevens and Carters. Within a week of putting our house on the market with the new estate agents we have sold it and completed within 11 weeks.

A very poor experience and my seller ended up going with someone else who offered her more money despite me paying nearly £1000 for a survey and not once backing out. I am giving 1 star to Calum because he was polite and friendly but I can honestly say I got a better service from the charity shop next door.

All was well until one day when speaking to Alison she forgot to put me on mute and used foul language when I asked her to ring someone else directly and before anyone asks I had never been and never was rude, totally uncalled for and totally unprofessional, makes you wonder how they talk about their clients, will never use again, very disappointed
