Very disappointing experience. During the purchase of our new home, I specifically asked the estate agents to make sure the seller cleaned the property and removed all rubbish before completion. Unfortunately, when we collected the keys, the house was left in a terrible state. It was very dirty, with rubbish left throughout the property, and the bins were completely full of construction waste. The council refused to collect the bins because they contained building materials, leaving us to deal with the mess and the cost of disposing of it ourselves. This caused us unnecessary stress and expense at what should have been an exciting time. I expected much better communication and a higher standard of service, especially after raising my concerns in advance.
