This is the worst experience I have ever had with an estate agency and I genuinely doubt I will ever have to experience such a poor level of service again in my renting future because I will never use any Belvoir branch following this "service".

Promises made by Belvoir regarding the rental my property have consistently been broken. I am trying to get rid of them letting my property by terminating the tenants, as I am so disappointed and fed up with numerous people with Belvoir Aldershot. I found out how bad they were after a few months, and realised I had made a HUGE mistake - now a year on I can now give a Section 22 to the tenants and move my business to in my opinion a professional lettings agency.

Truly terrible. Renting with Belvoir Aldershot was the worst rental period of my life. The house was totally unfit and in a dire state. Mold, damp, lack of legal insulation (reported to me by their own contractors). They are rude and lie. It's very easy to rant online so I will keep it short and sweet, just avoid them. I had to report problems every single month of my 7 month stay, not a single problem was fixed in that time. They will blame anyone but themselves. They will throw their contractors under the bus or blame the landlord, anyone but then is at fault. Once I terminated my contract they of course started claiming deductions to my deposit, hounding me and continually blaming me for previously existing problems. They only decided to back off and stop trying to deduct monies from our deposit when I mentioned going to the Ombudsman, the press and asked for the details of Belvior head office so I could report them. They paid up and left me alone pretty quickly after that. If this branch genuinely isn't full of con-men then they are completely inept and totally in over their heads and needing new jobs. Reading the other reviews posted about the staff are hilariously false and clearly written by the staff themselves or friends to bump up the branch rating. If you have made the mistake of renting with them and are now only just reading the reviews realising what a mistake you have made, don't worry I did the same. If you are struggling to hear back from them however here's a pro tip, leave them a 1 star review on here and you will get a call very promptly afterwards asking you to take it down.

Awful company DO NOT LET WITH THEM Awful company, I let a property with the Basingstoke branch. They received fraudulent emails attempting to update my bank account details. They acted on these without contacting me to verify and sent the rent to the fraudulent account. When asked about this the director stated it was normal to update bank details without checking and 'what do you want us to do call everyone after an update? They then suggested that I had created the fraudulent account. Needless to say I'm cancelling my contract with them.

Honestly this was a horrible experience for me. The whole time I just felt ripped off. After PAYING my first month's rent I got an email a week later saying that I haven’t paid and that they’ll be charging my guarantor if the bill doesn’t get paid. First of all I was paying a large amount where Wi-Fi was supposed to be included and in 9 months time they never secured it. All they kept saying is that the landlord has already taken care of everything and that the Wi-Fi guy just keeps canceling. Really he keeps canceling for 9 months?? Second thing is the horrible communication. They rarely respond to my emails. Sometimes I have to email them 10+ times on three different emails just so I could get an answer after a week or sometimes they just never get back to you. They will email you when it is convenient for them. When it’s you who has a question or a complaint then I guess they just can’t be bothered. Because I had an issue that I was emailing them about, I had sent more than 7 emails and I had to written them for at least 6 days in a row and they just kept ignoring that but at the same time they had the nerve to email me and ask something from me while they decided to just ignore my questions. Third thing is my security deposit. These people have no idea in what kind of state they rent their property because right now they want to charge me for things I haven’t even touched, for things that were there before. Because the room honestly was not in a good shape and now they’re blaming me for it. I don’t know if it’s because I’m an international student and they feel like they can just cash in on me or what but yeah the whole experience has been disappointing and horrible. And I would never ever recommend to this agency to anyone.
