Viewed multiple properties with Stuart in the Addlestone area, and he could not have been more helpful or knowledgeable. We are first time buyers so had lots of questions and concerns and he was able to answer everything honestly to help us understand the pro and cons of everything we were querying. It not often you find an estate agent who is as helpful and patient and we really appreciated that.

We are currently in the process of selling with Hodders, who I also brought the property off a couple of years ago and I have to say Adam Bermejo is amazing! He is always so helpful, professional but friendly, a real talent and asset to Hodders. He also showed our property for viewings and secured the buyer. Rob Alderton also deserves a mention, he showed me and my partner around to find a new home and nothing was too much trouble. I interviewed 3 Auction Companies when my family decided that Auction was the route we wanted to go down. 2 were what I would call huge companies and then we wanted to talk to a smaller company as my partner is not a fan of large corporates, probably because he has a small company! I have to be honest and say that from the first time Lloyd walked into the property we knew he was the person we wanted to trust with the sale. Firstly, he was on time not like the other 2! Lloyd was very matter of fact in a pleasant but strong way. We told him that his valuation was a bit lower than the others and after he explained about “upfront listing fees” we understood why. Lloyd does not charge an upfront listing fee so he would not list the house at what we wanted but listed it at a price to sell. As he explained his marketing campaign to us we realised that if the property was indeed worth more then this would show on the day during the bidding process. I am 100% convinced we made the right choice in instructing Benjamin Stevens and Lloyd. He was literally on call until the late hours and even on Sunday afternoon we had a 20 minute conversation when we received a pre auction bid which we decided in this case not to take. We actually got the same price in the Auction so maybe we should have just taken it but we wanted to see it go to Auction as we were actually enjoying the buzz of the process so much. Lloyd clearly loves his job and it shows in his work ethic, he is blunt but not rude, he is funny but not a comedian! He was an absolute pleasure to work with and deserved his 2% fee 100%. My family will recommend both Lloyd and the company he works for. Benjamin Stevens has apparently been in business 20 years and we can see why. What a company, what a team
