I have had the pleasure of dealing with all the staff of Elms Estate Agents since they opened many years ago. I have purchased and sold many properties through this superb agency. The main strength of this agency is that it is independent, the staff really know the area and their clients very well. They have always afforded me the best personal service. I find them knowledgeable and their advise is sound. I have always had a prompt response whenever I make an enquiry and it is lovely to be able to speak to the same people each time. Very helpful agents

Elms Estates have successfully managed my rental property for nearly ten years. During this time there has been a few changes of tenant but Elms have always found replacement tenants quickly, meaning that the property has never been empty for more than a few days. Simply the best

I have entrusted Elms Estates to look after my property for a number of years. I simply cannot fault them they are BRILLIANT. We have been tenants with Elms for 11 months and overall are very pleased with the service we have received. Jade has been our main contact at Elms and has always been quick to respond to us, very helpful and friendly. Elm's Been Great

I've used Elm as a non-resident landlord for the past eight-plus years. They have always been good for me. At times when the property has problems that need fixing, they've even gone round and fixed small matters for me without charge, rather than hiring an expensive expert. This is going above and beyond as an agent, in my opinion. The staff there are responsive and polite. Statements and payment arrive on time and a lined-out clearly with charges. Rutland has also been available to help collate my statements when I need to compile a tax return.

I have used Elms to act as property managers for 7 years. Their rate is competitive and they have been very responsive to deal with issues that arise.

Prompt, friendly and professional lettings agents.

Throughout my two years tenancy with Elms, I felt very at ease as a tenant. Requests and forms were dealt with promptly and in a friendly manner, and they approached the management in a relaxed way. The only criticism I could offer would be that the management of the property didn't seem as thorough as it might have been, but that did allow for a very comfortable let.

Favour landlords, not tenants

The agents at Elms initially sounded keen to get to the bottom of issues with the property, however this apparent support never materialised, resulting in many on going issues during the tenancy. The landlord then proposed excessive fines when I left the property, including cleaning (despite me paying for their recommend professional cleaners and providing a receipt). Elms offered no assistance in disputing these items, and instead supported the fines so as to appease the landlord for future business. Conclusion: Elms are good for landlords, but a no go if you are a tenant
