Sale of my property

The staff at Martyn Gerrad Whetstone, have been attentive from start to finish. I almost had the whole team help me through the ups and downs of the problems that arose throughout. But recently Heran Jethwa has been absolutely fantastic to say the least. Always on the ball, ready to help and at the final stages was chasing all the necessary contacts to 'close the deal', from agents to solicitors to everyone that was in this nightmare of a chain! The words THANK YOU do not seem enough, to show my appreciation to Heran and the whole team that helped me through this most stressful sale. Now I have exchanged contracts thanks to Heran and his patience and persistence I will be moving to my new home next week :)

Fantastic trustworthy service

We purchased our first home through MG, Heran was our agent. From day one we received fantastic service with Heran responding very quickly to my emails, providing many updates, pushing along the solicitors who were dragging somewhat and generally helping both parties get what they wanted out of the sale. Out of all the agents we were registered with, Heran was the most transparent, there was no rubbish coming out of his mouth or pushing to get a sale it was genuinely a pleasant experience to have him onboard during this exciting time.

Initially I warmed to David who came out to make the initial valuation and actually dare I say it seemed human! On that basis I went ahead with Martyn Gerrard as by only choice. They were streets above the other two prospective firms on first impressions. I received what I thought was a fair offer within 3 weeks, not quite to valuation but I was happy. Heran has been especially helpful throughout the whole process and has helped maintain my sanity by getting everything back on track when there were legal issues. He provided a great service and i'd defiantly recommend them to others.

Andrew was the first estate agent that wasn’t too pushy or trying to do a hard sell. He was very friendly and has a nice calm manner. We knew within 10 minutes of meeting him that we wanted to go with Martyn Gerrard for letting out our flat. The way he sold what your company does was great. He was always on hand if you needed to ask a question and always prompt in responding either by phone or email. Super patient too. Andrew was great at answering all our questions as first time landlords and helped us find our fist tenants. We are really impressed so far and fingers crossed for the future.

Terrible communication

I had organised a viewing with him. He moved it twice and when we agreed on a time in the end he was 30 mins late and failed to call me To explain that he was “stuck in traffic”. He did not even apologise and said “it is what it is”.
