Helped us to buy our first home!

Efficient and friendly service
I recently purchased my first property through this agency and had a great experience from beginning to end. The online facility to book a viewing was very handy and I received a phone call the next day confirming the viewing. Marco arrived on time to show me the property and then gave me as much time as I needed to look around. I decided to put an offer in the same day and he was very helpful with negotiating a price for me and even stayed late after work to continue until my offer was accepted! Marco then kept in regular contact throughout my purchase to update both the seller and myself, and was always friendly and helpful, particularly as I was a first time buyer so was unaware of the process involved. Thanks to him I was able to exchange contracts 8 weeks after my offer was accepted and completed 2 weeks later. Also, whenever Marco was unavailable in the office there was always someone else to answer the phone and take a message, so I always had a very efficient and friendly service.

Thank you Roberto
Roberto from MG Whetstone found us the property of our dreams. The only problem was that our kids weren’t keen (putting it mildly). But Roberto gently chatted to them about his own boyhood experiences of moving home and reassured them how they could make the place their own. It did the trick! As our 9 year old daughter says “Roberto made a massive difference” and we can not recommend him highly enough. Thank you Roberto for all your patience and professionalism – you’re an absolute star.

We would like to thank Roberto for the sale of our property. Roberto was professional and courtesy at all times. Roberto ensured he got the right type of viewers for the property which was very good, we had experiences where agents brought round people who just didn't want to view - not the case with Roberto or any of the team at MG. We appreciate the offer and sale of the property we got near our optimum price so that was very good. All in all good job to Roberto and the team, thank you.

Professional and trustworthy agent! Highly recommended
I have been dealing with estate agents for many years now, and have therefore chosen to post a review about this individual, based on the fact, that he has regained my trust in estate agents. Jason Ramsay of Martyn Gerrard, Whetstone, London, is a highly professional and committed agent, one with integrity and great understanding of what it means to deal with property as more than just a structural shell for individuals and families. Having recently undergone a worrying and uncertain few months due to my landlord's decision to put the flat I rent, on the market for sale, I could not have asked for a more sympathetic and considerate agent to take this one. Jason, without fail, kept me updated on viewings and always provided sufficient notice before any viewings were confirmed. He showed complete respect, and although rented, this was still home to my daughter and I. Having received consent from my then landlord, he was also able to push for an investor to purchase the flat, in the hope there would be a better possibility for me continue my tenancy. I would like to congratulate Jason for his hard and honest work during the entire process, and thank him profusely for helping my daughter and I continue our tenancy at the property. My new Landlord is wonderful which is a bonus! There is a certain stigma around what it means to be an estate agent, and having purchased and sold properties, rented myself and rented out properties, I have experienced first hand how this stigma may have developed. However, I am so pleased to say that this certainly is not the case with all, and Jason Ramsay has restored my faith in the industry. He is a real credit to Martyn Gerrard estate agents and to the industry as a whole. I would definitely contact him in the future if needed, and would highly recommend him to anyone requiring property services.

Excellent service
We would like to praise Roberto from the Whetstone office of Martyn Gerrards. He took time to listen to our requirements and made sure what he offered met them. Its reassuring to know there is an estate agent out there that does listen. After a few viewings we found a place and made an offer. Roberto was excellent at keeping us informed of the outcome of this and when accepted regularly made contact with us and our solicitor to make sure the process went smoothly. He was all to happy to answer any questions we had and made us feel comfortable with dealing with him.. We have now exchanged and completed and would recommend Reberto to our friends and family.

Professional and efficient
Jason was very efficient in arranging the viewing at a short notice. The viewing and offer process was handled very professionally, which allowed all parties to agree on a good deal quickly. The exchange of contract happened within 3 weeks - the smoothest process one could ever have. Overall, I am very satisfied with Jason's service and would highly recommend MG.

Jason and the Martyn Gerrard Team, Whestone and their colleagues in other North London Branches generated a great deal of interest in my property. They obtained 5 offers , one of the being the asking price. Jason was always polite and professional and went beyond what I have experienced any other agent do in order to provide an excellent service and ensure that the sale went through. He also had an excellent rapport with the solicitor Alan Magnus of Peter Brown , Barnet. and worked with Alan to ensure that they did the best for me.,, and I felt that both were making great endeavors to act in my best interest. Jason would also take time out of his own private time to ensue that things went well. I felt that Jason was honest and trust worthy and worked hard to help me ( something that I have not always experienced in the past when I was selling a property). Thank you Jason

He took the time to keep us up to date with developments and always made time to discuss matters at length to ensure that we were getting the best service.
