I'd like to personally thank Melanie Leese in the Wellington office for her wonderful customer service and incredible knowledge of the area. Mel really bent over backwards to help us with our enquiries.thanks again Mel. A real asset to your company. Stephanie Malone
We had a valuation meeting today and was very positive- Jo was knowledgable and provided insights to help us consider putting our property on the market. Jo was very honest and understood our position, there was no hard sell or pressure. With the added positive reputation DB Roberts has, it was an easy decision to instruct them in selling our home ☺️
Very very poor service found them to be very rood and unwilling to listen had to ri g them six times just to get hold of person as never bothered to return calls don't use them
Don't use these guys. One of our viewers called and asked if they had any properties in Wellington with a budget of x amount and our house wasn't even recommended. It wasn't until the client asked for a certain area to be closer to a family member was it recommended. To top it off, they rarely reply to emails or calls. One person even replied to an email with a sarcastic comment about my mom in the email - and accidently copied her in. LOL how unprofessional is that!! Once you get the right person on the phone they claim they are quick to fight your corner but then soon disappear again. Do NOT go with any surveyancing company or lawyers they recommend either. Absolute shambles.
If Emma is the example of DB Roberts Estate Agent support I certainly will never use this company in the future and I will ensure that I pass on my dissatisfaction with her approach and support to the higher end of the chain with all friends, family and work colleagues. Although I appreciate that I am not DB Roberts direct client, Emma from the start has not responded to my calls and been dismissive and rude whenever I have actually spoken to her. Rebecca normally answers the phone and is very polite and helpful in chasing the solicitors. Emma's response is "I have phoned them, what more do you want me to do" - my answer would be to find out exactly why contracts have not been exchanged with a day left until completion. It is selfish and does not support people higher up in the chain when removals companies need to be acquired etc. Purplebricks on the other hand (my estate agents) have done everything in their power to chase up the bottom of the chain, but can only deal with DB Roberts. I was eventually told to "stop phoning as I am not their client." Update: Thank you for your response although it does not mention the rude way in which I was spoken to by Emma during our phone calls. With regard to your comment regarding Purplebricks not returning call I refute this accusation as they consistently phoned you whilst I was on the phone to them and were rebuffed numerous times.
