Truthfully - The agency is generally decent, and Adrian has been responsive whenever issues arise, he’s definitely better agent than most- I give him that! However, I need to address a recurring problem that has been extremely frustrating and costly. The handyman has never been on time. Every single time (six or seven occasions so far), he has arrived late by an average of 3 to 3.5 hours. Each time, there’s a last-minute excuse—whether it’s taking three hours to stop by a shop, searching for parking for two hours (despite ample parking available right outside the house:))), or suddenly needing to attend to an emergency and informing me only 40 minutes before he was supposed to be at my flat?? This is not okay. Once or twice - sure thing. But every - single - time?? Come on now… This consistent tardiness has led to significant financial losses for me, as I’ve had to wait around for hours. It’s incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. I've had other privately hired workmen visit the flat for tasks like assembling furniture, and no one has ever been this late—maybe 30 minutes, at most. If I were to show up three hours late to a work meeting, it would be considered unacceptable and disrespectful to everyone involved. So why is this behavior tolerated here? My suggestion: hire an additional handyman if the current one is overwhelmed. Moreover, when I raised my concerns about the lateness, the agent’s response was dismissive. I was told to just leave a key for the handyman, but as a single woman living alone, I don’t feel comfortable letting someone I don’t know into my home without my presence. This isn’t a personal slight—it's about feeling safe in my own space, and I shouldn’t have to explain why that's important??? Can we please try to be more understanding of single women living alone and exercising their right to being present when workers attend the property? I have a very busy schedule myself, so it can be overwhelming. But I never disrespect other people’s time. Time is of essence , we aren’t here forever!! Additionally, I still haven’t been given a key to access the electricity meter room, despite having asked for this repeatedly over the past 18 months.this is very naughty…. So- While the agency is reliable in most areas and I believe Adrian is a genuinely nice person , the serious unreliability of the handyman undermines everything. Please address this issue—I’m losing money again today, and for no good reason. This has gone too far.
Park Vista Tower, 5 cobblestone square, Wapping & Bow , Greater London, E1W 3BA, London, UK, E1W
Originally from North London, I've explored the diverse landscape of this city before settling in Wapping a decade ago. My career began in the automotive industry, where I developed my skills and established a successful dealer group. Central to my approach was nurturing my teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences, a principle that remains paramount. Transitioning to a pivotal role as Divisional Director for Mercedes Benz in the UK, I refined my leadership and sales expertise. Subsequently, I founded a sales and leadership training company, initially catering to clients within the automotive sector. However, our reputation for innovative, customer-centric strategies quickly garnered attention from the Estate Agency industry. Recognizing an unmet need in the market, I embarked on a new venture, teaming up with EweMove in 2021 to launch my own Estate Agency business. Fueled by my passion for the Wapping and Bow community and supported by extensive sales experience, I aimed to set a new standard of service in the industry. Since then, we've consistently exceeded expectations, delivering exceptional results and guiding our clients through significant life transitions. This journey has been immensely rewarding, reinforcing our commitment to providing unparalleled service to the Wapping and Bow community.
