I first contacted Robinson Michael & Jackson, when my mother asked me to help with getting a valuation on her property. Mum needed to go into a care home and knowing the valuation would enable us to set up a deferred payment arrangement with the local authority. The value of her property would offset the cost of her care and enable us to get the best possible care we could. As part of the process we had to get three evaluations. RM&J impressed us from the first meeting, apart from answering all of our questions in a forthright and no nonsense manner, they also knew the history of the local area. We told them that the property wouldn't be for sale until after my mothers death. Of the three estate agents I contacted RM&J were the only company who treated our situation with compassion. Three years after our initial contact with RM&J, my mother passed away and as as executor of her estate part of my duties were to oversee the sale of her property. On contacting RM&J, I found that not only did they remember us from our initial contact but they also offered sincere condolences. The advice and support I received during the sale and conveyancing has really been second to none. Whenever I needed to discuss an issue regarding any part of the sale process, they were always happy to advise. I have only ever lived in rented accommodation, so i needed an estate agent I could be direct with and would be direct with me. I would like to thank the Walderslade Office Team for Robinson Michael and Jackson. Having sadly lost my mum and having to sell her house I approached a number of local estate agents for quotes and an understanding of the process and what the company’s were able to assist me with . From the offset and before making a decision I found the team were the most efficient in sending information and correspondence that I required in order to sell the house and I decided to go with RMJ. I cannot fault the team . To start with they are all approachable and friendly but it was their efficiency that impressed me most . The agency held a key to mums house and arranged all viewings and kept me informed when these were happening . I was notified the next day of people’s views and comments about the property and I was advised when offers were made on the property as to what ideally would be the best offer to accept due to the buyers circumstances . This in fact resulted in a quicker sale . I also liked that the team had a nominated staff member to liaise with the solicitor to chase to enquire on my behalf if required. I have received regular phone calls and updates and on the day of completion two final calls to say the process and sale had completed.
