Excellent professional service
As a local landlord we were very pleased to find McFarlane enthusiastic about the area and the property, with good knowledge of both. Interactions were prompt and efficient; we particularly appreciated the emailed notifications of viewings and the corresponding feedback. The tenants that Anita found for us are charming and I know are as pleased with the service from McFarlane as we are.

Excellent buyer support from the Swindon team
Just completed on a lovely property and I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Silvia and Julian for their support working with a very challenging vendor. They went above and beyond to help smooth the many bumps in the road caused by the vendor and their conveyancor (the cheapest and worst I have seen). Wouldn't have completed if it weren't for their professionalism and dedication. Always a pleasure to deal with, responsive and keen to drive on to the next stage with consideration and understanding. Its when the going gets tough that the agent's team make the difference and get a sale through to completion. If I were selling I wouldn't hesitate to use this team and highly recommend them.

Sarah Cole, Property Manager. Care and tenacity when dealing with a tenant's maintenance issues.
Since Sarah joined the McFarlane team her response to any maintenance issues I have had, at the property I rent , have been handled professionally and with tenacity. I am very appreciative of the fact that she has always kept me informed throughout the process and also follows up on matters that may involve the building's Maintenance company. June C

Worth Six (6) stars.
We recently sold our property through this agent and the sale was handled by their Cricklade office. We had used their Old Town office previously to rent out our house and their management services proved to be completely reliable and stress free - with no issues what so ever; so we had no hesitation about using them again when we decided to sell. They were proactive throughout and reacted to any points or questions we had, without delay. Their communication throughout was excellent and they kept on top of all the other parties involved without any need for me to chase them along. We were offered every assistance along the way and they even scanned and emailed documents on our behalf when our own resources were packed away. Their team worked well together and went way beyond the level of support and assistance we expected. They really could not have been more accommodating and helpful, and we cannot begin to rate then highly enough. Please use them with total confidence and let them take over the stress and hassle out of buying, selling and renting.

Outstanding Attention to Detail and Tenacity
The McFarlane Team dealt with my house sale from beginning to end with unfailing politeness and tenacity. They were particularly effective in keeping me abreast of progress throughout, and 'caught the ball' when other agents in the chain had been less vigilant and dynamic. As such, the sale culminated on time....and without drama or stress.

McFarlanes looked after us really well as tenants for almost 3 years in our rental property.
During this time, they were efficient at dealing with any maintenance jobs that needed attention. They were flexible with regards to fitting around our timings re the quarterly proper type inspection and they were always respectful that they were in our 'home'. Thank you, McFarlanes, for all your support.

Excellent support for landlords using their managed service.
Very friendly and efficient support and you are kept well informed. Difficult issues with other agencies are dealt with courtesy and with determination. This service is good value for money.

Short-term stay in double apartment
My experience with McFarlane after over half a year in Swindon has been thoroughly positive. As consultants my colleague and I are dependent on somewhat flexible arrangements, and I'm happy to say that McFarlane have been very accommodating to our circumstances. The apartment itself is in excellent condition and good condition. There have only been few instances where we needed help with maintenance and each time the situation was addressed swiftly and the issue dealt with in a timely manner. Staff are always helpful, and each time I called in or dropped by we had nothing but friendly exchanges. Mails are replied to swiftly and there is always someone on the phone to help me, even when our primary property manager is unavailable. Overall I wholeheartedly recommend renting with McFarlane.

Managing Agent and Estate Agent
