I really can't praise Tom and Janine enough. From the first meeting Tom showed his professionalism and enthusiasm and this didn't waver throughout the process. He kept us informed every step of the way and was even in contact when he was on holiday! Meanwhile in the office Janine kept the solicitors 'on their toes' constantly cajoling and prompting while providing us with updates of the current situations. They made a formidable team which Smiths can be very proud of. I would therefore highly recommend Tom and Janine at Smiths to anyone!

I have had previous experience with Smiths as they very expertly managed the letting of my home to a lovely family about eight years ago. Throughout the process of finding suitable tenants, to managing the tenancy they were a pleasure to deal with and incredibly professional. Based on this, I contacted them again, just recently, to value the same property, as I have decided to sell. I was impressed to find that when I contacted Smith’s the woman who answered my call remembered me and was also complimentary about my house. Tom Edmunds arrived to value my house, discuss my needs and help me understand the current property market. He listened carefully to my concerns and took these into consideration. Tom provided excellent advice about how to prepare my place for sale and was extremely knowledgeable about what potential buyers might be looking for. Most importantly, I didn’t feel at all pressured into making any decisions and Tom offered sound advice concerning my current financial situation and made me think that perhaps now might not be the right time for me to move. In a years time I could be in a much stronger position. Moving house is such a major and life changing decision, so it is absolutely imperative that you trust the people you have instructed to do the best for you in this process. Everyone wants the best price for their house. Within a couple of days of the valuation a detailed presentation was prepared and it was clear that Tom had been extremely diligent in production of a carefully researched valuation. I would have absolutely no hesitation, when the time is right, in instructing Smiths to sell my property and would feel in very safe hands.
