I was happy to commission Abbey Properties to market and find a suitable buyer for a property in Bampton. They seemed to know the local market and were active in finding suitable buyers who turned out to be fewer than anticipated. The UK general election and poor market was against us. Suitable buyers meeting the expected profile were found but delays caused elsewhere in the chain of sale meant there was a six-month period between accepting the offer and completion. Abbey Properties were active in communicating with other agents and conveyancing solicitors in the chain and their efforts helped in keeping the pressure on and in cajoling some action elsewhere. Throughout the process they kept me informed.
