The worst estate agency. They never reply your email or call. When you walk in, they will send you home and require you to fill in the application form, which they never reply neither. Check other comments! The negative comments are so true!!! If you are the landlord, please consider to use other agency company as Belvoir is irresponsible. There are few immediately available property on the website, and they refuse to start my application process immediately, even though I walk in to the company.

Hi B C, we’re sorry to see your review here. Unfortunately, some rental properties are receiving nearly 100 applications each time so there are always a number of disappointed applicants. We cant respond specifically to your review as there is no name and no profile picture to go from. However, we’d be more than happy to address your concerns privately- please email our team on swansea@belvoir.co.uk where one of our managers can look into this for you. Thanks, Belvoir Swansea

As a landlord, i found they were very nice, until you signed the contract. Then it was difficult to ever get hold of them. They took weeks/months to reply, and reports of checks were written too late. I have had to do extensive work which could have been avoided if they had picked up on the damage in time. I spoke to the rental manager, kirsty, who I thought would help, but she then also began ignoring my emails. I haven't been with them for months but they are still sending me emails saying they missed invoices and I need to pay them. I would never work with them again and would never recommend them to anybody

They don't answer their phone, you email them and ask a someone to ring you back - they don't and they do not update their signs outside the property.

Dear Kim, we’re really sorry to see your review here. Please accept our apologies. We’re experiencing unprecedented levels of enquiries into our properties at the moment which is causing delays in some of our response times. We are struggling to locate details of your enquiry on our systems, however this may well have been left under a different name - please would you provide your direct contact details via email to swansea@belvoir.co.uk, so that a member of the team can reach out to you. Many thanks, The Team at Belvoir.

I rented a flat with Belvoir, at the beginning they were really responsive and helpful then after I had to pay the whole rent upfront, the service was really disappointing. I sent several emails to ask some informations during my stay in the flat and they would never reply to my emails or answer my calls. The overall experience was bad and poor quality service!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality

Very unresponsive, horrible. In short, they do not answer calls or emails. I viewed a property, where I was told that only one-year tenancy was possible whilst I was looking for only six months. The agent told me he would talk to the landlord about this and get back to me the following day, which never happened. I tried to call them, but never got through, so left a voice message. The next day, finally I got through, meaning it was me that had to call not them, so they ignored my voice message. I was only told the same that six months was not possible. Several days later, they sent me an application form of the same property which stated "minimum six months tenancy", so I filled the form and returned. However, this was completely ignored by them. Overall, very confusing, unresponsive and unprofessional. I would never recommend this agency.

We are really sorry to hear your feedback Kazuya. We are dealing with an extremely high level of enquiries and calls for lettings properties at present, so we are sorry that you had to contact us again before we had a chance to come back to you. The property you viewed in particular has had over 50 applications since being listed, so we are sorry that yours was unsuccessful on this occasion. While a six month fixed term is the minimum we require in general, this can vary from property to property, depending on the owners requirements for the tenancy. We are grateful for your feedback however and sorry that you feel let down. Our Lettings Manager Kirsty will reach out to you to discuss in further detail. Many thanks, the team at Belvoir

When enquiring about rental properties they just do not respond. Emailed and phoned and finally spoke to someone who promised they would send an application, heard nothing and have just given up.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Dear Katrina, We're sorry and disappointed to read your feedback. We are experiencing an extremely high volume of enquiries at present and are doing our best to respond as quickly as possible. In regards to the application, the email was sent on the day you spoke to one of our staff members however, the email address was spelt incorrectly. This was human error and we do apologise for this. We have sent you an email separately explaining everything in further detail and would be more than happy to discuss this or any other queries you have in person or via email. Kind regards Belvoir Swansea

Dont get back to you when you phone to veiw a property. You have to keep phoning to try to get a viewing. Not good business practice

I have rented a house from Belvoir and I am extremely unhappy with the property, would not recommend company at all. I am working full time and obviously do not have time to call them at all. Before I moved in, I have agreed with the company that there will be done a professional cleaning of the house and they will put a fence before my move in date. Nothing of the mentioned have been done, I had to do a massive drama to make a cleaning a day after and for more than a month now they cannot put a fence which means I cannot use garden. I asked them to reduce a rent for a month, until the fence is done and they simply refused. I would never recommend anyone to deal with the company.NegativeQuality, Professionalism, Value

Dear Mr Badran, We’re sorry and disappointed to read your feedback here, especially as we are in regular contact with you regarding the fence. As you know, works to the fence were quoted and scheduled before you moved in, however, due to contactor unavailability, we were unable to schedule the works until this week, which we have made you aware of. Regarding the cleaning- the Independent Inventory Clerk did highlight some minor dusting which was missed at the original clean, so we therefore sent our cleaning contractors back within days of you moving in. Again, we have been in discussions with you regarding this. Naturally, we’re happy to discuss this with you in person or via email. We will be in contact privately to discuss further. Regards, Belvoir Swansea

I had previously written a really good review for Belvoir when I first moved into the property - they were extremely helpful and easy to work with. HOWEVER, after renting with them, and having moved out of the property, I can honestly say that they are the worst estate agents that I have ever dealt with (and I have rented 10 places in 10 years, so I have some experience!). They visit your house every 3 months (which I understand from the landlords perspective), but they make you feel like it's not your home and they are extremely critical. Finally, they took over £500 of my deposit because they didn't believe that we had the place deep-cleaned (we did), and took photos of pristine fridges and other applicances claiming they weren't clean. For example, they said that our dishwasher and dryer weren't cleaned properly (we didn't use either of them once the whole time we lived there). In short, I don't recommend this company to my friends, so I wouldn't recommend it to strangers either. Go elsewhere!

Hi Jodie, thank you for your feedback. We are disappointed to hear that you were not satisfied with the frequency of our visits or the check out process following your departure in 2019. We do carry out property visits every 12-16 weeks and provide any feedback to landlords and tenants, as this is included in the service we provide to our landlords. We understand that visits can cause a disruption to our tenants, and would like to thank you for accommodating us in carrying these out. We have reviewed your tenancy file and are satisfied that any damage deposit claims made were necessary and made in line with the guidance of the Deposit Protection Service, and also with your written agreement. All tenants do of course have the option of using the free dispute service provided by the DPS, in the event that they disagree with any of our claims. We would be happy to discuss the details of your case further if you wish, please do contact us if so.

Belvoir have been a pleasure to deal with from start to finish in managing the rental of my home. They have kept me up to date on all progress, are always available to answer my queries & the whole process has run smoothly. There has only been one glitch to mention, which was IT related & its that I was not informed of a viewing at my property. This was raised with Belvoir & dealt with promptly. I would highly recommend their services.
