I happened to randomly stumble across Belvoir Lettings on Google recently, after reaching complete frustration with the previous letting agent I'd been using in St Helens. It was indeed a lucky find. Throughout the process Vivienne - a landlord herself - guided me through getting my apartment refurbished, remarketed and re-let. I found her and her colleagues to be courteous, efficient and professional throughout, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to other landlords. Uniquely among letting agents I have dealt with, her allegiances aren't solely to the landlord - the diligence her office showed ensuring that the tenants deposits were correctly handled far exceeded what I’m used to (without causing any extra hassle for the landlord) and should provide comfort to any prospective tenant as well. Finally, I had cause to query an initial payment forwarded by the agency after checking my bank statement. The answer turned out to be simple - Vivienne had quietly applied a discount to my fees without any fanfare, meaning that the sum of money I received was higher than expected. Tell me - how often does that happen?! Great stuff!
