If I could give 0 stars I would. So many issues that should not happen. Nothing ever gets better. Nothing has got better. Northwood Solihull have totally failed to manage my property. Checks on the state of the property and checkouts when tenants leave have been full of expensive omissions. It’s like the Director walks around with his eyes closed. They have been dishonest to tenants and myself as landlord. They said that the house would be cleaned. It was not cleaned and yet funds will have been taken off tenants. They lost my door key and this presents a serious security issue for my house. My advice for landlords and tenants is go elsewhere. It cannot be worse than here.

Hi Isla I am very sorry about the experience that you have had. I had video'd everything in the property and i took over 200 photos of the property. I told you as soon as the tenants had left, how sorry I was about the condition the property was left in by the tenant. I wish you well in your future letting of your property.

Tried to make an appointment to view a property. Spoke to someone without any customer service skills. Was told I’d be receiving an email with the details. It didn’t arrive. Then telephoned to chase it up only to be told I’d been left a message as well that the property had been let!! Incompetent and hopeless.

The director of this company

The director of this company is * I've ever met in my life. Nit picking over crumbs in a draw. This rogue agency should not even be allowed to rent out properties, they charge the earth and don't do anything in return. Lying horrible ** with no heart at all. Very dishonest. They are quick with anything unless it's to benefit them.

Stayed with them for 5 years but they sided with the landlord and kept most of my deposit even though I had the whole property cleaned before moving out. Also had it inspected on regular basis from Northwood. Will never deal with them again.

Bad

We recently applied to rent a property with this company. We were informed we did not need to pay the holding fee (via phone and email) and completed the application. We had spoken to the company that weekend to discuss move in dates and had provisionally agreed to leave our property one month early to start renting at the end of the month. 2 days later when bringing passports to the office I am told someone else has applied as I am walking out the door. We then receive a phone call 2 hours later to they have accepted another applicant. The company completely mislead us by telling us we did not need to pay the holding fee and keeping the application open without telling us, meaning we ended our tenant early without a property to go to. Staff were very blunt on phone calls and not friendly. I would certainly not recommend renting with this company.
