Terrible estate agents, booked to see a flat with a guy named George Hyne, arrogant, unfriendly and knew nothing about the property, when I asked to put my name forward 3 times, I had no further communication from them, avoid if at all possible.
Current agents are a complete joke.. been locked out of the property twice when they’ve come to repair things as they some how have keys for the property I did not have, Repairs are done as cheap as possible using second hand parts and break in the exact same way almost on a monthly basis. When leaving they wanted to charge me for belongs that either belong to a previous tenant or the property itself even after it was mentioned to them when I moved in these items were not mine. When I needed a meter reading , which happened to be in the owners property I was just told to contact the owner myself which in my eyes makes the agency completely redundant if I need to contact the owner myself Would rather avoid in future as it was not a good experience at all.
Will use any excuse to take deposit off you including making up things
Found them to be extremely arrogant, who complains about a purchasers solicitor being on holiday in the middle of the school holidays. Obviously never sold a property in the summer before. Then expects the purchaser to let the vendor to be able to enter the property after contracts and payment have been made. Typical expectation of estate agents, middle men who do nothing and treat purchasers like dirt. Can't wait for the housing market to stop and the boot is on the other foot, and estate agents have to earn a living.
I went into Belvoir and spoke to Richard, 70% of the time he spent talking to me he was on his phone. And after this unprofessional experience I will not be using their company again.
Only care about the landlord, not the Tennant. Every time we've had a problem we've been made to feel as if we were in the wrong or doing something we shouldn't, only to have to prove that issues weren't of our doing. Each time we reported a problem there was no sense of urgency to get anything rectified for us and at no time have we ever had a follow up call or email to make sure all is ok. Very, very poor customer service.
Well where do I start. Held a tenancy for 26 months. At 500 per month. So I've paid out 13 k in rent. Landlords and these agents couldnt organise a fence panel to be installed. Also let a house not have a smoke alarm (against the law). To top it off the windoes and doors have very thin, fragile and old.glass, which breaks very easily. They did not even apologise over this! Landed a family member in hospital, and not one iota of an apology from belvior Shrewsbury. They aren't in the mindset of tenants. They started evicting me once before over christmas as the lawn was a little long. Had been snowing and I had also fractured my leg weeks previously. As long as they are getting the money they do not care.
