Couldn't recommend more!! Not sold a house with them, but I know the owners.. You will not be able to find an agency in chesterfield to sell your house that is more honest and genuine! Perfect little team
I've not even sold a house with them yet but I've met the team and I know this is my first and only port of call. What a nice bunch.
I would not recommend renting through Redbrick based on my experience over the last two years. The biggest issue throughout my tenancy was the lack of communication. Emails often went unanswered, phone calls weren’t returned despite being promised, and it was very difficult to get hold of anyone. There were also frequent occasions where staff were unavailable, leaving queries unresolved for long periods. Communication between Redbrick and the landlord also appeared to be poor. As tenants, we were often told to contact Redbrick, while the landlord would direct us back to them. This meant we regularly had to chase both parties just to get answers or have issues resolved. Although the property was advertised as bills included, the arrangement was that the landlord contributed £100 towards gas and £100 towards electricity each month, with tenants paying anything above that. However, there was no clear system showing when top-ups were made or when additional payments were due. We ended up having to agree dates directly with the landlord so we could keep track ourselves. We also had problems topping up the utilities through the local shop, as they would sometimes refuse without the landlord’s permission. When we asked Redbrick to help resolve these issues, responses could take weeks. Property management was also disappointing. On one occasion after tenants had moved out and before new tenants had moved in, bedroom windows were left open during the winter, leaving the property exposed to cold weather unnecessarily. The final frustration has been the return of my deposit. I returned my keys on 13th July and was advised to wait until the following Monday before chasing it. Since then, I have made numerous phone calls that have gone unanswered and emailed for an update without receiving any response. At the time of writing, I am still waiting for both my deposit and even a basic update. Overall, my experience was one of poor communication, slow responses, and having to chase simple matters repeatedly. I hope this feedback encourages improvements so future tenants receive the level of service they should expect.
