Travelled from York on Saturday to view two houses. Agent didn’t show up and one house was off the market. No one let us know & no one was answering the phones even after the 5th call. Useless.
Where do I begin with this one. 6 months of trying to rent through them. They do not answer messages. Don't answer calls. Can't be arsed to send offers through to landlords. Ignorant. Arrogant. And wholly inept . Don't even bother Edit. In response. Indeed, we have spoken. But again, I viewed ONE property. I have enquired, in excess, of over a DOZEN. and in that period, you yourself admitted that I had been missed of the list. I have left over 30 messages with the 'so called' answering agent and been left with nothing but a singular dismissive email I have attempted to swing the odds in my favour on those properties Via multiple means, including adding to the monthly rate. Something that I am going to assume that you never even passed to the landlords But at no point, has any member of your staff even bothered to contact me back. That is the reason for this review. And shall we go into details.. Is it because I am on benefits?.. Disabled?... because I find it unpleasantly obvious that we are treated as second class citizens. And in light of recent court cases, I would have thought that you would be aware that discrimination from a landlord, reflects badly against yourself. And yes, I was Short tempered. As once again, an attempt to deal with you in a pleasant manner resulted in me being ignored. I played the game your way. And it wasn't a pleasant experience . Do not attempt to pass your short comings back to the client. And as for the other reviews. If they ever bother to get back to me.. or learn how a calendar works, then perhaps they will change. I am also more than happy to release my "aggressive" call to you. As ALL the calls I make are recorded.. And if anyone else wants to hear them. They are more than welcome. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!! I wish I had listened to the former tenants when they said the house and letting agents were awful! Five years in a property (always paid my rent on time and in full) without any of the pre-agreed work being done. I actually just gave up hassling them about the faulty gas, broken front door, damp, broken cooker, and the condemned garden wall. There were more problems than just that!! One night the pipes burst and I was told it wasn’t Belvoir’s problem! I got a super obnoxious email about how they don’t have a 24 hour line and that anything out of office hours is the tenant‘s responsibility. When we finally did move they took £95 of our deposit for gardening! I reiterate the condemned garden walls! I also had to phone over and over to get my deposit. They have no accountability, nobody returns calls, nothing gets done. Terrible experience!
