Terrible service, had me waiting around over half an hour just to be told the agent had already left the property.

Hi TG, we’ve had eight viewings in this property this afternoon and 7/8 of the viewings went ahead as planned. Our viewer waited at the property until 4pm, as the final appointment was booked in at 3.30pm however unfortunately she had to leave as she had other viewings lined up at another property at 4.30pm. I’ve spoken to my viewer, who advised that she was calling the number that we have listed for you, however the number just rang out with no response. Please be assured that we are not a team that does not go out of our way to accommodate all viewing requests however on this occasion, we’ve had no choice to continue with our viewings once all of the appointments have attempted to be completed. Booked a viewing for a flat in Victoria Mills apartment. They've confirmed again the day before to make sure I coming. But never showed up on the day and completely ghosted me. I felt like an idiot for travelling all the way from Leeds and showing up 15 min early, taking the day off from work for the viewing. Worse part is I've never got a reason for cancelling it. May someone else let the property before my viewing, but I wasn't even informed as a courtesy at the least. Edit: Hi Gary thanks for your response. I am not sure what happened either. The intercom was a bit iffy because it was showing an error when I entered the flat number. I tried several times and gave up. I actually managed to sneak in when someone else come out of the door, but when I knocked on the flat door, there was no response. I have called your office twice but the response I got was that the person must have left already so would have to reschedule the appointment. All of this could have been easily avoided if we could actually communicate.

Hi Pradeep, I have reviewed the timescales around your viewing & I can confirm that a member of our team was at the property, completing viewings for 10 interested parties, over a two hour period. We were at the property for 45 minutes prior to your viewing appointment & 75 mins after your viewing appointment time. Our records show that you did not arrive for your appointment, so I'm not sure what happened here, as 8/10 people who were confirmed to view the property, did in fact view the property, within this two hour period. My colleague who completed the viewings, confirmed that she enabled access to all who arrived & pressed the intercom to view the property. Please be assured that we did not let the property out before your viewing appointment was arranged for, as we 8 people viewed this property, during the viewing slot that you were booked in for? A Disappointing Experience with Martin & Co Housing Agency I would like to express my gratitude to Afsha Sadiq for sharing her recent experience with Martin & Co Housing Agency. It pains me to say that her story struck a chord with me, as I too had a regrettable encounter with this company not too long ago. Several months ago, I arranged a property viewing with Martin & Co, and much like Afsha, I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Hannah during the process. When I initially set up the viewing, I was informed that the company allowed for a 15-minute grace period for 5 pm viewings, considering potential traffic delays. However, on the day of my appointment, I arrived just 6 minutes behind schedule, only to find that Hannah had already left the property. Her explanation was a terse, "I have an appointment at 5.30 pm, so I had to leave." What makes this incident particularly disheartening is the fact that I had travelled all the way from Manchester to Bradford for this viewing, with my 6-month-old baby in tow. Being a single father, this viewing was an essential step in securing a suitable home for us. My plea for understanding and leniency fell on deaf ears, and I was left feeling utterly disregarded. At that time, I contemplated leaving a review but ultimately decided against it, believing that such mistakes could happen in any company, and perhaps it was just a one-off occurrence. However, only four weeks later, my sister faced a similar ordeal with Martin & Co. Like Afsha and myself, she was told upon arrival that her viewing had been cancelled, even though she had not received any prior notice of such a cancellation. When she raised her concerns, she was met with the same dismissive attitude and was informed that she had called in to cancel the viewing. Like us, she questioned the logic of setting off if she had indeed cancelled. Yet, instead of addressing the issue, Martin & Co staff pointed to their outstanding reviews and awards as if this somehow invalidated our experiences. Regrettably, I cannot help but notice a recurring pattern in these incidents. It seems that individuals with English surnames have been more fortunate with their interactions with Martin & Co, while those of us with Asian surnames have been met with indifference and scepticism. I am compelled to leave this review now, not only because I have witnessed Ms. Sadiq's similar experience but also to bring attention to a concerning trend that suggests differential treatment based on ethnicity. It is disheartening to see that such experiences continue to persist, and it is my hope that Martin & Co will take these accounts seriously and strive for better customer service practices in the future.

Appalling service. Never pick up the phone and always seem to rush you off the phone and hang up on you. Also never reply to emails. Wish they could be more proactive in ensuring the best customer service considering they are dealing with prospective buyers.

Worse Experience Ever! Poor service recieved from this estate agent. Inconsiderate and heartless people. Were incredibly difficult to get hold of or get the service needed for example sending someone out to sort our gas and electricity out. We went on the whole weekend during winter time with the no hot water or gas. I was pregnant at the time and they didn't fulfill our needs. Not even the bare minimum.... Gary you are saying you cant find me on the system? I was at Langdale Avenue BD8 0LT. Look it up! I have emails to prove I rented with you. And my chain of emails constantly askimg for contractors... I can post on thjs review if you like? Look at the 1 star reviews... we all cant be wrong... horrific experience!!!

I had a viewing today an hours drive from my home. It was confirmed by email from them but they couldn’t be bothered to let me know it was cancelled as the property had sold
