Left a bad taste

Really upset and disappointed by our experience buying through Move Revolution Crawley. It took two days for our offer to be passed to the seller at the beginning and we didn’t have any response or update for a week- we were chasing them and were about to offer on another property. Once the offer was accepted a sales progression person was assigned to us who contacted almost daily to ask when we would be exchanging- it felt quite aggressive and harassing, we asked on two occasions for the daily emails and calls to stop as there were delays due to Covid, lockdown and Christmas. This just felt unprofessional. We sent them the results from our survey highlighting lots of repairs to share with the seller- we then received an unedited emotional and rude email forwarded by the agent from the seller suggesting we find a new build property and threatening to put the property back on the market. This left a really bad taste and it took our solicitor a while to calm us down. This email never should have been seen by us especially with so many comparable properties on the market. This very nearly cost the agent and the seller this sale. Very stressful and disappointing experience, I wouldn’t recommend or use Move Revolution to buy or sell in future.

It’s been a while since we dealt with this agency and never wanted to share our negative experience because we are not a bad people, especially my husband, however just please do not trust any verbal agreements! Make sure you have everything written down because these people do not care about tenants but landlords and will make you invest and lose money! We are happy we moved on as peace of mind is sometimes more important than money but don’t let them take advantage of you!

I filled out three enquiries on the website for these guys, never receiving a call back from an engineer. So I started calling daily about my project, starting from 29/01, every day I got the same answer that someone would call me back shortly to book in an engineer visit. From 7 calls, I spoke to five different people, all aware of the project deadlines who said they would 'call me back shortly', I didn't receive a single call back but remained patient with my project on a deadline. Every call was 'Don't worry, we'll get an engineer out to you'. I called today 07/02/25, to be told engineers are booked until mid-March. A complete waste of time and putting our whole project deadline and opening date for our independent business at risk. A week and a half waiting on these guys for them to quite rudely dismiss me when surely they'd know if their engineers were booked!
