Very reasonably priced Japanese food that isn't pretentious. Service is quality and the ambience in there feels very homely. One of Portsmouth's best restaurants for SURE!

My partner and I came here for our first real date night together, and it was a fantastic evening, with lots of highlights. Firstly, the atmosphere of this place is great. A majority of the seating is booths, and there are curtains to separate you from other customers. This made for a really intimate, cozy setting, and a romantic meal with my partner. The staff here were friendly, and took our order very quickly, which I appreciate. All the food was delicious, and I have ordered food from these guys a few times since! All the sushi is top quality, and super tasty. The sesame broccoli is incredible, and they have a sesame salad with sausage in it, which is way better than it sounds! The tempura prawns were absolutely perfect, and the pork dumplings were some of the best I've ever had. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who likes this area of food, and I will be visiting again.
