The process was started in November with chain breaking and ultimately falling through but Starkings continued to offer reassurance and talking us through any queries we had. Slick process from start to finish. Purchased out first house through S&W in 2020 and having recently sold and exchanged (following a buyer pulling out in May) the thought never crossed our minds to go with any other estate agent. Peter Downes was very proactive in getting our house listed and advertised for a quick and successful sale. Sarah dealt with our initial sale with Daniel taking over once things fell through the first time. As an ex-estate agent I am quite hard to please and haven't been particular impressed with agents in Poringland. However, selling my property with Starkings & Watson was a refreshing change. From Chris on day 1 who "got me" and didn't try to hard sell and really worked with me to present the property in the best way. To Carl who took ownership of the marketing once the property was live and then, the hardest job of all was left to Daniel, the sales progressor - in my mind the role which really differentiates estate agents who regularly dismiss the importance of post-sale chasing. We found Starkings and Watson to be a great estate agent. All the staff were friendly and professional and were always willing to help. Our home sold in less than two weeks and the quality of the photos on our advert really helped. I will be recommending S&W to friends. The aspect I particularly liked about them was from a buyers perspective when we viewed homes with them they were not at all pushy which I think really helps when selling someone’s home.
