Great personal service
i cannot speak highly enough of the service that James provided from the start to completion. The first viewer James escorted around my property made an offer and purchased the property! He is a thoroughly personable and professional person and nothing was too much trouble. He kept me updated every step of the way and he was not only efficient in keeping solicitors talking but also liaised with the sales agent on a regular basis with regards to the new build i was purchasing. There's a lot to be said for a smaller estate agent and this was certainly reflected in the personal service provided.

This young company was a breath of fresh air!
After months of no success with high street names, Ollie was like a breath of fresh air, in his approach and results! He kept us in touch all through, on what he warned was going to be a stressful time in our lives - he certainly helped us along the way in a very personable and professional way. When Ollie was not available, James and the office were always on hand to help.

Don't be afraid to back the underdog!
Having sold a house in 2016 through one of the National High Street Estate Agents, we were left unimpressed with their availability and lack of communication throughout the entire sale. Barton & Co pride themselves on their communication and having experienced this first hand as both a buyer and seller they certainly impressed us with their availability, knowledge and pro-activity. This was probably best demonstrated by their eagerness to regularly get in touch with all parties to ensure that the sale progressed as smoothly as possible. We will definitely be recommending them to friends and family in the future.

An excellent service!
Having interviewed several estate agents with regard to managing our rental property we settled on Barton's as we took to Ollie straight away and felt a smaller agency would provide a more personal service. There were minor problems with getting the tenant set up but these were sorted quickly and now nearly 3 months on all is running smoothly. James has also been very helpful in sorting out minor issues. All in all a good experience.

Excellent overall service
Barton & Co have provided an excellent service throughout our buying process. They have made the process as easy as possible. They have been very proactive in helping us through the purchase. I would definitely recommend them to anyone purchasing a property as they provided a friendly and professional service throughout.

Very happy
We were very happy with the service Ollie and James at Barton & Co provided us. They were always readily available to assist and more than happy to help, a significantly more personal service than one you would receive at a larger agent.

Excellent Service
They managed to get a buyer for our property very quickly and handled everything for us. James took care of all the viewings which made the selling process so much easier. We had difficult buyers and James was very helpful in ensuring that the sale went through to completion. I would highly recommend as the service is excellent.

Excellent client care, attentive to the end
There's nothing we can fault James and Ollie on, but the main praise we have for them was the hard work they continued to put in once they'd found a buyer. They were chasing all sides regularly, keeping things moving and querying solicitors where needed. They had a brilliant rapport with our buyer, encouraging them to keep things moving too. Due to factors beyond their control, it was a long, difficult sale and I'm sure had they not have been involved we may not have got to the end of it successfully. On top of this, our house was empty and we had relocated some distance from it, but Ollie and James kept an eye on the property and checked all was well through cold weather etc. I can't imagine another estate agency putting in the effort and work that James and Ollie did. Highly recommend them and would have been a whole new level of stress without them. Really personable, great rapport with solicitors, very professional.
