I was looking to buy a new build and decided to put my house on the market independently after being offered a ridiculous sale price by a developer who wanted me to buy one of their houses (which I didn't in the end). I chose Belvoir as they had previously arranged the rental of a property for me and I trusted them. Richard and the team were great to work with from the start - professional, completely reliable and very human and easy to deal with. They had great photo's and film taken of my property, and even though the market was slowing down, I sold within 9 days after 2 viewings, for very close to the asking price. You can't really ask for much more than that. Richard also gave me advice on negotiating the purchase of my new build, which helped me to get that over the line quickly so that my buyers were reassured and I didn't lose them. And Belvoir put me in contact with their recommended conveyencer, who the buyer was also using, which just made everything very straightforward. The whole process went incredibly smoothly and took around 16 weeks from start to finish, with the only reason for it not being faster being that we had Christmas during that time, and my new build couldn't be ready to move in to any quicker! If you want to sell your house with an estate agent who you trust and feel supported by, I'd highly recommend Belvoir.
