Dear John I’ve had to take some time to consider my response to this review. Initially we would give a heartfelt request to confirm if this review is both genuine, and correctly lodged against our business, as it’s come as a complete surprise, it’s totally out of the blue and we’re struggling to validate the veracity and the (lack of) content. If it isn’t, and it’s been issued against our company in error (unlike the 5 star paint review we’ve gladly taken), we’d kindly ask you remove it and attribute it to the correct business. If it is, and because this is likely to be my only shot at issuing a response, we would ask you to both substantiate the rating and provide some context or colour around publicising this feedback. Mainly so that others can relate to your experience, or that we might be able to learn from any potential shortcomings. Nobody has any idea of the level of blood, sweat and actual tears I’ve poured into this business to avoid this eventuality. We’re absolutely mortified if anyone isn’t comfortable with our approach or the level of service they have received and we’re continually looking to learn and improve. If however, it is a disingenuous, unimaginative, and ultimately unprovoked attack against the reputation we have worked tirelessly to forge, we are prepared, and have been for some time for this eventuality to occur. (In a Liam Neeson sort of way) We already have specialists working to uncover the IP address this review has originated from and we have magic circle solicitors ready to issue a writ for defamation against the person behind this potentially faceless rating.
