I wanted to write this review as a thank you to Dawsons and especially to one of their agents, James Thimas. Until recently, I was a tenant at a property managed by Dawsons' Mumbles branch. I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the outstanding service provided by James Thomas, who was responsible for overseeing the property throughout our tenancy of three and a half years. We are so happy and grateful to James for all the work he’s done. From the very beginning, James has been an exceptional point of contact, handling all matters between us and the landlord with professionalism, patience, and efficiency. Having rented several properties over the years, I can confidently say that James is by far the best agent we’ve ever had. He was always professional, always polite, kind, and reliable. His work ethic set him apart. Throughout our tenancy, we had few issues with the property and landlord, and James dealt with these situations in a very professional way. He made sure that our concerns were heard and addressed, keeping us informed every step of the way. His ability to communicate effectively and advocate on our behalf made a big difference to us as tenants. During the routine property inspections, James was always positive and encouraging, often commenting on how well we maintained the property. Our tenancy came to an end in mid-January 2025, and unfortunately, the process was not as smooth as we had hoped. The landlord raised claims and demands regarding the condition of the property, many of which were unreasonable and frankly unfounded. James, however, remained fair and objective. He recognised that we had left the property in an even better condition than when we first moved in and took the time to explain to the landlord why her claims were unrealistic and that it wasn’t our fault or responsibility for all of the issues that were raised. Thanks to his professionalism and mediation, the situation was resolved amicably, and we were able to recover our deposit in full. We can't express enough how grateful we are to James and Dowsons. His integrity, professionalism, and excellent service made a challenging process significantly easier for us. Because of James, we will not hesitate to recommend Dawsons to family, friends, and anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy letting agency.
