This sale was beset by cock-ups on the part of solicitors and the buyer's mortgage provider. As far as I could tell, the only party to the transaction that didn't mess up was Dawsons, the Estate Agents who went to great lengths to ensure that the sale was eventually a success. Tracy Sturgess gave 100% to us in getting things sorted. Tenacious! She would keep us informed by phone, email, text within and without "office hours." She was always contactable and I had total confidence in her, Andrea Devoy was helpful in getting good photos done in the early stages and being very speedy in getting things underway and I noticed that Caroline Mountfield in the office was always very efficient and polite.

Good, professional service

We found the staff at the Dawson's Morriston branch to be very professional, helpful and polite. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we feel they worked hard on our behalf to sell our house. The valuation was very fair and we were impressed by our property advert on the website. The staff in the office were always very obliging and on the rare occasion we were unable to get through by phone, it was due to a high number of calls. If we left a message, Dawsons staff would always respond promptly. We received a good professional service from all the staff in the Morriston branch whom dealt with selling our property & answered our queries, in particular we are very grateful to Associate Tracy Sturgess, Office Manager Andrea Devoy who always passed on our messages, Caroline Mountfield and all the other negotiator/sales assistant staff who were all very friendly and helpful. (Natasha, Rochelle). The only negative comment we feel we can add is that we would like potential buyers to be vetted a bit more carefully before offers are submitted, as our first buyer unfortunately dropped out, causing delays to ourselves and to the vendors of the property we are buying. We were both very impressed by the Dawson's website and feel that the addition of floor plans would help prospective buyers. We note that Dawson's staff across the region are actively involved in a lot of fundraising activities which is really good to see & it would be nice to see other Estate Agents following this example. Overall we were impressed by the service offered by the Dawson's Morriston team and we would definitely recommend them to friends, family and colleagues (as I have done so already.)
