Of the four Estate Agents that we contacted in West Kirby, Karl Tatler were streets ahead at the introductory meeting in terms of a professional approach, realistic valuation, marketing tools at their disposal and competitive fee structure. From there, the whole process proceeded smoothly and we were kept updated at all times by telephone feedback after viewings and through their online portal. We were particularly impressed by the way in which they liaised between solicitors to agree a mutually acceptable completion date. I had the difficult task of selling a property from a relative’s estate, with the added factor that the house was in quite poor condition. I was recommended to Karl Tatler, and agreed they should act for me after their Manager visited me and went through the process, KT’s involvement and the approach to valuing the property for the sale in a clear and professional manner. The house was quickly photographed and the layout prepared for the advertisement, and as soon as my solicitor gave the go-ahead to advertise KT placed the advertisement and viewings started. I was kept advised of all the viewings, which were numerous, and the outcomes – and the information on viewings was also available on my account on KT website. A sale was agreed and I was very satisfied that the buyer was appropriate and the price was satisfactory. Then the buyer’s chain collapsed. KT went back into sales mode very quickly and we agreed a new strategy for the sale, and eventually a new buyer was found. Despite a major delay in obtaining probate KT continued to provide support and keep me informed, passing me seamlessly once a buyer was found from their sales team to their sales progression team who kept me informed, and liaised with the buyer and his architect and builders to allow them to visit the property many times. Overall their service was outstanding; not the cheapest, but for the reliability and quality it was well worth it, removing one significant stress from my shoulders. Highly recommended.
