I viewed a property with them. They weren't pushy and kept me up to date while I was putting an offer in. Once accepted, I had 1 phone call from them with an update, followed by a missed call, and then nothing. When I called in to say that I wanted to pull out, because the allocated parking space that they mentioned isn't in the deeds, they reassured me that it does belong to the house, but was not included in the deeds. But a month passed, and still nothing, so I eventually pulled out. I did receive another phone call from them asking if I still wanted the house, because they had new evidence to prove it, but long story short, the conveyor said that it wasn't sufficient evidence. I don't know who's in the wrong here, but I lost £600 in conveyancing fees (from work that the conveyor had already done). The solicitor was recommended by their recommended mortgage broker, and as far as I know, most conveyors do not charge if a purchase had fallen through. I had also pulled up past adverts for the property from zoopla, and the for sale adverts mention a communal parking area, rather than an allocated space. I should've been more vigilant.
