Lazy letting agents. Enquired about a property, was told that it would a group viewing and there would be five other applicants there and viewing it at the same time, I have viewed multiple properties in recent weeks and never have I had a group viewing. Couldn't even answer a question of whether a property up for rent, was pet friendly or not and told me I would have to view it and then apply, before giving me this answer. A property is either pet friendly or not, there is no middle ground.

Middlesbrough branch- This estate agency treats people looking for tenancy as dirt. The would keep you in dark and are not at all reliable. Would not tell you any probable timeline for start of tenancy/moving but will advertise the property as immediately available. After weeks of chasing phone calls, online viewing, tenancy application and going through the secret lottery of choosing the prospective tenant, they took holding deposit, did references and one about week before moving date withdrew tenancy paperwork citing landlord wants to sell. I was left dumbstruck...My whole joining week of the new job was spent in finding a place to rent. Time wasters.....They do not value the time for renters.
Very unhelpful staff. No regard for customers. Enquired for several homes to let on both their website and right move. No one spoke to seemed interested in either arranging a viewing or getting back to me. Why bother advertising these homes to let if you can't be bothered to deal with a potential tenant? When Mr Michael Poole himself run the estate agent, he was very professional and cared about customers back in the day. Its shameful how unprofessional the lettings team treat potential tenants. Absolute waste of time. I hope the landlords find out what you lot are like.
They put a house on Rightmove mid bank holiday weekend (who on earth was in the office on a Sunday?) I applied online to see it, the earliest day anyone could possibly have seen it was Tuesday. Tuesday, no-one answering the phone or email. Finally after only five hours, spoke to someone about another property. She told me the one I was really interested in, see above, had had the VERY FIRST offer accepted. Surely they are open to other/higher offers? Said I. No. If I was a vendor and agents were blocking chance of higher offers, I'd be pretty annoyed.
Many houses and others appear and they don't want to help me see them
Rude, obnoxious, unprofessional...would not recommend. Staff have no respect for customers. speak in a highly Rude manner...there is no customer service. If your desperate do not go here. Go and sleep in the street than visiting these guys.
Glad I didn't put my house on the market with Michael Poole, they don't answer the phone ever, tried 4 branches all the same, they send you a text message asking what properties you wish to view, we had 5 that we liked, and they have not replied even after I asked a guy in the lettings department to try for us 3 hours later, he said he would get in touch with the 4 branches and chase them up, heard absolutely nothing back, how o earth are you supposed to sell your house if they don't respond to your request, dreadful service
