After the house had been on the market with little interest for a number of months, Mum and Dad had an offer accepted in July 2023. Things had been progressing, mortgage secured, and were told everything was in order. Around the time that Mum and Dad were planning and arranging my sisters wedding, things started to go quiet despite numerous chasers. Dad then went down to the house to speak with the owner, saying he was purchasing the property and was querying where things were. He was then told by the owner that the house had been sold to someone else and was under offer, despite the property being 'taken off the market'. Would highly advise anyone to stay clear.
