I was very pleased with the service I received. The staff were always very helpful and knowledgeable. I was kept up to date at every step of the process. Each process happened fairly quickly and efficiently. Viewings were set up straightaway, which then led to an offer on my flat immediately afterwards. The high level of customer care throughout, made me feel extremely confident in their abilities.
Emilia has been most responsive and helpful in all my requests to date. Being new in letting out a property, there has been many unclear aspects which were dealt with by her in a very professional, polite and supportive manner. My only amazement is that in a situation when she is on leave, no one seems to be able to assist and I was told to leave a message until she returns. I believe in a service industry, the manager or immediate supervisor should be able to cover such gaps. Not withstanding the above, I have been very satisfied overall with their services to date.
I have used the Ellis and Co on West Green Road three times. Each time they have got me very good, suitable tenants for my property. They were always very courteous, helpful and reliable. Ellis's fee of three weeks' rent for finding and vetting tenants I consider reasonable, in contrast to other agencies that charge an ongoing fee, irrespective of the length of the letting period. I would rate them as excellent except for a misunderstanding regarding the taking of an inventory with my latest tenants. I would like to rate them "very good" rather than just "good".
Was very good at getting a tenant in as fast as possible as was needed. Found that service was very good and helpfull. Would recommend.
I wish the Agent would pay more attention to keeping items well maintained plus the way the Tenants uses the Fridge, Washing Machine, furnitures etc and ensure that New Items bought for the Property on behalf of the Landlord are not condemned immediately they are off the Warranty period (12 months) in favour of buying new ones for the Property. That will reduce the expenses of keeping the Tenant and make the Investment Property more worthwhile.
I used to have really good regards of this agency cause at the beginning of my tenancy we used to get everything fixed in a very timely manner. A couple of years later everything changed when the building was no longer in warranty with the development company. After that we had to chase the agency constantly in order to get things fixed and actually when we left our flat managed by them, still a few tickets for repairs had been open for months and un-actioned. In this branch there's also an agent (potentially the director) called Hasan who is a very stereotypical sales man: he will tell you all you want to hear on the moment of viewing the apartment, but he will be quite rude and useless later on if you need something to be fixed once you've already signed the contract, stay away from him if you can. Also beware when you leave the apartment that they will put lots of efforts on finding minor issues with the state of the "end of tenancy clean" and charge you completely nonsensical amounts for it. Make sure to dispute these amounts since they won't even put up a fight to accept your counteroffer.
