Review of Dawson's Llanelli I recently had a very disappointing experience with Dawsons. Despite booking a viewing for a property, I was informed upon arrival that the viewing was only for "proceedable" buyers. This was not communicated to me beforehand, and I felt misled. When I expressed my concerns, the agent insisted that I continue with the viewing, despite my lack of readiness. She offered no further assistance or information about the property, leaving me feeling unwelcome and disrespected. Following this incident, I filed a complaint with the agency's manager, Lorraine Evans. Unfortunately, her response was evasive and failed to address the core issues of the complaint. It's disheartening to see such unprofessional behavior from a real estate agency. Agents should treat all potential buyers with respect, regardless of their current financial situation. The practice of limiting viewings to "proceedable" buyers can be discriminatory and exclude many qualified individuals. I would strongly advise anyone considering using Dawson's to be cautious and to inquire about their viewing policies before making an appointment.

Your reply to my review insinuates that I am lying, I gave an honest review on my first impression of visiting your shop, you won't find a record of me as I was so put off by the rude woman that I spoke to, I decided to go elsewhere. Since receiving your reply, I have amended my review accordingly.

Avoid the Swansea branch at

Absolutely awful experience. Booked a viewing, in which I had to take the day off of work for, and the agent no-showed. We were not contacted about a cancellation, we were just left hanging. I've emailed a complaint, but it seems to have been ignored. Useless agents, Dawsons should be ashamed for hiring unreliable idiots.

Wouldn't use

Put little effort into selling the house. When I finally sold and handed the keys to the agent at the Llanelli office. The lady said to me “I bet you're glad, the house must've been like a noose around your neck”. I was gobsmacked that someone thought that was appropriate to say to someone. After the year I'd had it was the last thing I wanted to hear. What an awful person.

Terrible service, no communication and what an attitude on all staff that i spoke to.. wait until after this housing boom and they will all be bending over backwards for the customer again!

It is a very fast paced property market at present with properties selling/renting often on first viewings, and with increased phone traffic due to the lack of branch footfall this can increase waiting time for contact with our teams, please be assured we are doing all we can to ensure we are reachable during office hours. I was left in a house with a hole in the roof for over 12 months, after constantly getting in touch with them and the landlords to fix I had to get in touch with environmental health to get the work started only to be handed with an eviction notice. I would never rent with them ever again. Because of this I withheld rent for 2 months and now they are chasing me with bailiffs eventhough they did not uphold their part of the contract, whilst I paid them full rent every month even when I lost my job due to illness. Whilst we appreciate living with a roof leak must not have been a pleasant experience, especially where environmental health was involved, unfortunately due to the works required to the roof, this could not have been completed with occupants therefore there was no option but to issue notice for vacation and hand the property back to the landlord for the works to be completed, as the comfortable living and safety of our tenants is of the upmost importance to us. Where there are arrears involved at the end of tenancy, we do have a policy in place to follow these up on behalf of the landlord.
