I have bought and sold a property through Hilbery Chaplin. My sale was an extremely difficult case and wouldn't have been possible without the help of Chris and Corrine (and Susanne) at the Laindon office. They were very helpful with the solicitors on both sides. The response to emails and constant communication was very frequent from all staff. Additionally to helping with the sale they also recognised that the buyers and myself were real people and went above and beyond what was expected throughout the sale to ensure that no one was left in a difficult personal situation (i.e. no where to stay for a few days). Finally it was just a pleasure dealing with them everyday. Even thought the sale was stressful it was always an enjoyable conversation when I was called about an update which made the whole experience a lot more enjoyable and I will miss the contact. Ian kept us up to date throughout the long and stressful process, making sure we were advised every step of the way, with where we were at any given time. Liaising with all in the chain, not just "his" client. He was always on hand and if not available would come back to us straight away, something other Estate Agents could take a lesson from.
