The Process.....

We have found Henderson Connellan very helpful with communication and making sure things are of track. They have always obliged to requests to view our home to be to allow us to measure up before the big day etc. We did find things a little pressured in the early days with chasing us up for answers rather go through those we are paying to do this on our behalf but it worked out well in the end. We found Sam, Jessica and Karen very helpful and a credit to the team.

Positive and hard working

A big thank you to Adam and the team for all the hard work and enthusiasm. Even when things got difficult, they stayed positive and focussed, offering good advice and encouragement all the way. We particularly liked the 'Open House' as it enabled a lot of people to view in a short period of time.

Couldnt find the property I liked on the web site and wasnt ready to call until I'd seen more about it

The service we received as potential buyers was really poor so much so we decided not to increase offer on a house as it was dealt with so badly and thought if this is what is what it’s like trying to buy what will the sales progressing be like ! That’s just our experience and view.

I’m extremely disappointed with the way this estate agent has handled a serious safety issue in my rented property. My back door has been drilled shut, leaving it unusable as an exit. This creates a major fire safety risk, yet I’ve been left in this situation for now 4 days and have been advised it will take another 2–3 weeks with little urgency shown to resolve it. Despite repeatedly raising the concern, action has been delayed, and now the repair is being held up further while they seek additional quotes. While I understand the need for due process, it’s incredibly frustrating that cost considerations appear to be taking priority over the safety of someone living in the property. A blocked exit in a home is not a minor inconvenience—it’s a basic safety issue that should be addressed immediately. As a tenant, I expect the property to be safe and for serious hazards to be treated with urgency. I hope the agency reflects on how situations like this are handled in the future and prioritises tenant safety over prolonged delays.

Thank you for your review, feedback and for taking the time to discuss your comments in more detail. As soon as you reported the issue, we contacted a locksmith to arrange a visit as quickly as possible, the Locksmith attended the same day and a new part was required to remedy the problem, multiple suppliers were contacted but the part was not in stock and it transpires is no longer available. The best solution was the installation of new doors, a contractor was instructed, visited, provided a quotation and the Landlord gave authority for the repair in less than 4 days. Whilst we appreciate the seriousness of the situation, we are reliant on the availability of contractors to visit to provide a quotation, authority from the Landlord and the manufacture / supply and installation of new doors.
