My partner and I had been living in a flat for nearly 2 years when they said we’d need to leave (and quite respectfully gave us 6 months to look for elsewhere). Naturally, we started looking straight away, viewing many properties with the wonderful Alice, who was so patient and sweet, especially when we aren’t the best at making our minds up! We found one that caught our eye but were put off because it was up for auction, however after a few days of thinking about it we got in touch with Alice and said we’d like to view it again just in case. Upon contacting her she advised it had been taken off of auction and put up for sale and helped us get our second viewing in as quickly as possible. It was at this second viewing where we put the offer in, and after a couple of days of negotiations we had our offer accepted. From then on, the process was not only easy but exceptionally quick, taking only 2 months from offer accepted to completion date - a date that would have been even sooner had our lenders not had trouble verifying one of our old funnily named addresses (completely out of anyone’s control). They were always there at the other end of the phone if we had any queries and were fast to respond at all times. We are now a couple of weeks into the renovation process and still feel like we’re in a dream - the day we picked up the keys is one we’ll remember forever (and safe to say we’ve already used the kind gift (a free dinner at Plan Burrito) that they handed us at the same time). Alice and the team at Miles & Barr were absolutely instrumental in obtaining us our dream home and we could not be more grateful!

Having a dedicated sales progressor was especially reassuring, it made communication between buyer and seller so much smoother and really helped speed up the process. Used Mikes and Barr several times for tenant finds and sales. They are always professional and get the job done. No they are not the cheapest in the area...but I believe they are the best !
