The staff at stow bros in Highams Park were great especially - Mia

After a long and stressful sales process, we are finally in our new home. Thank you to Paul at Stow Bros for dealing with a very fraught chain.

Just wanted to say a massive thanks to Jon from Stow Brothers Highams Park for yesterday. We had the guys from Churchills and Kings round today and they all said pretty much the same as you did regarding price. However, I have to say you as a person came across so much better than the others. You were really well prepared and a massive thanks for the hook up with Andrew (we are talking to him tomorrow) and for the builders deets. I guarantee if we do sell it'll be through Stow Brothers. Ok so I wanted to add to this. Andrew turned out to not be as great as we expected. We aren’t some easily dialled in pair looking for a mortgage. After a couple of weeks working with Andrew we found that he was becoming hard to contact, very distant and not able to have access to many products that would work for us. In the end we had to leave his service. Within a few days we were able to find a mortgage that really worked for us.

Paul made this experience easy and was super helpful and hardworking. All the staff were able to assist me with any questions I had. Would recommend.

We bought our first home through Stow Brothers with the help of Lachlan. He has been very helpful managing the communications with the vendors and was always very responsive. The only aspect we would improve is having more clarity in what was included with the property. Friendly estate agents, would recommend.

Pretty seamless from start to finish buying our new home. Incredibly quick process, helped we were chain free, but also Alfie Lamb our agent being so on the ball throughout. Would use again in a sale

There were so may issues with this agent it took months to sort out and although we were compensated by them it was not worth the time, cost and stress it took to resolve. Any issue the tenant told them needed resolving we approved within 24 hours but then had to chase and chase to get it done !! Leases went out incorrectly, notices to the tenants were not served (even when I reminded them) - the tenants deposit - which we were allowed back in full after arbitration did not cover the cost of the repairs while they were in the property. This is despite having paid for full management. The property condition reports they sent were wrong. None of the real condition of the property was sent to us - photos seeming not to capture it..... If I sent you their response to this you would laugh (apparently all the issues happened during the weekend between the tenants leaving and the photos .... seriously ) and this resulted in us losing the sale of the property incurring a further 1,200 of legal costs - Then there was the time they suggested that as our lights went over the pool table we could reduce the rent or take down the ceiling .....until I suggested trunking up the wall and along the ceiling - problem solved ....... this is the level we are talking about. Or how about putting our house on the internet for Rent months after they no longer had the property and at a rate LESS than they got for it years earlier !! we had to tell them to take it down ! I could go on ...... And then at the end - after all the issues cost and time they "nickeled and dimed" us and we cut our losses and settled. But OMG we are a professional competent genuine family who happen to have contracts abroad - we are not landlords by profession - this is our home.... But Stows took an absolute chunk out of us. We have never paid so much money to do the work ourselves. I am now aware that I am not the only one to have issues - but one thing Stows do do well is Marketing and people with not great experiences tell me they feel they wont be believed. Trust me ! read the above and tell me you could make this up !!!
