My sister and I recently lost our mother and had the sad business of selling her beloved bungalow. I contacted housesetc because of a recommendation and instantly felt at ease with the initial conversation I had over the telephone with Chloe. She arranged an appointment to suit me as I was very specific on the time and I and my sister were very impressed with David who came to meet us. He was straight, honest and realistic with us and the preparation he had done prior to the visit was reassuring that he knew what he was talking about. After meeting him we didn't bother with any other estate agents as we felt he could sell the property in a professional way and we had every confidence in him. A sign went up the next day (Good Friday) and people were wanting to look round before the photos were developed! Every time the house had an appointment to view I was emailed in advance and it was carried out by themselves under supervision. There were no hidden costs and it sold quickly (under two weeks) because I believe both parties had a realistic view of its value and potential. Marie discussed the offers we had and gave an impartial view and overall we were delighted with the service. Emails were always answered the same day and the company operates in a very professional manner. I would have no hesitation in recommending this estate agent to anyone. If you want honesty, realism and as a consequence a lower level of stress then this is the company for you.

I could not recommend Houses Etc more! The whole team were warm and friendly, and really put me at ease throughout the buying process. I was unsure about heading in as I had done this with another company and was bombarded by staff and handed mountains of paper work to fill in before I could even talk to them about the house!
