She was amazing at the start and friendly but as time went on wasn’t very helpful with the process, sided more with the seller than the buyer and we had a mutual agreement on email and only stuck to one of the agreement, I would be careful to go with this company.
I do not recommend Belvoir Estate Agents in Gloucester as they give conflicting advice. I called one of their agents for a house valuation and they gave me a certain figure and when my solicitor requested the valuation they gave them a different figure...a whopping 50K difference!!! Hello....house prices have gone up not down. Stephanie told my solicitor that i was given an online valuation as no one visited my property for a real live valuation. I queried this with Stephanie and told her that this is incorrect as I did have an Anthony come and view my property and gave me a real live valuation figure. If she had done her job properly and investigated this deeper and further she would have known this. I will never recommend this estate agent to anyone. 28.11.24 In response to the below i did not shout abuse to your team member. I merely expressed that I am not stupid to give a valuation to my solicitor based on an online figure which your team member relayed this information. My solicitor was not told that Anthony had visited the property.
Honestly, I have read the review of the Belvoir then only contacted them for the property. I have viewed the property and filled the application form. When i took follow up, one of the member said on the phone call that they have sent my application to the landlord, and when i called it back after 5 hours, person who showed me the property she said property is gone to another person and said she didn't receive my application/*interest* at all. As far as I know she was well much aware about how much I was interested. Then why at the first place belvoir mentioned about the application has been sent to landlord, if they haven't received my detail. Its their job to get the detail for the person who was ready to book property at the same time. Worst worst time i have ever had with the Belvoir !!!!! They have made partial choice just because I was an international.
Put our house on the market with a different agent, received 2 letters from Belvoir practically begging us to change agents to them. It comes across very desperate and not a good look.
Very slow to respond, even slower if you need repairs. Left without working washer/dryer for weeks and similar for light fittings not working. Staff were rude and would never use this service again.
Awful awful awful!!! Lied all the time, mushrooms growing downstairs, leaking showers celling collapsed in kitchen, damp rising, smelly carpets, no contact apart from asking for rent, not with them more that's why I'm reviewing them, Lucy was the worst one, rude, rang up for advice an she ws rude so I ws rude back. Update : that's weird as I have photographic proof of actual paper work stating " we must leave end of April as landlord wants house back" an it was a bluff which one of my house mates fell for an left the poor bloke, he's Turkish an his English ain't great an that's discusting to do that, also belvoir done over 10 room checks in a Yr, it's not supported accommodation so that ain't right, not to mention no garder once ( I ws doing it) window cleaner once, they would check rooms but not sort out the problems I've stated an have proof of, an by the way this is the first bad review I've ever done on google
friendly, accessible and diligent staff... until you sign and then on some of the worst customer service I have encountered. Very unprofessional, rude and borderline negligent to tenants. Maybe the "clients" are the landlords but still no excuse to exploit tenants and avoid doing your job as real estate agents.
This estate agents are rip offs they took my sisters deposit and took ages to then tell her because her guarantors didn't earn over 20+ thousand a year she wasn't eligible what a joke 2 guarantors had to be earning 20+ thousand a year do NOT use this letting agencyNegativeProfessionalism, Value
