Firstly, the allegation that we are keeping your money to fund our business is malicious and slanderous and should be withdrawn. You are fully aware that this held independently in the Government approved Deposit Protection Scheme. We do not hold your money and this was made clear to you at the outset. Secondly, we do not arbitrarily refuse to return deposits. We are required to act on our clients instructions (the landlord). As you have been made aware, there is a free, wholly independent process should you wish to contest the evidence when it comes to deposit deductions.
