An absolute pleasure to work with

Superb agents. If Carlsberg made estate agents! Can't praise them enough. Lianna couldn't do enough for us. Always helpful a real pleasure to deal with. First time I've let a property and would absolutely recommend Northwood.

Professional and friendly service to a landlord and seller.

I let my house through Northwood for 9 years and their service was faultless. Having moved away from the area, I always felt confident that the team at Exeter would take care of everything, leaving me a worry and hassle free landlord! The team were always very professional, but also friendly and helpful. When I came to sell my house, my experience was exactly the same. If you need a letting agent or an estate agent in Exeter, I would highly recommend the Northwood team.

Professional. Agent.

It is very clear that Northwood always have their clients best interests at heart and are very proactive and professional. I cannot thank Anna enough, without her professional and calm manner I would not have sailed through purchase of my now property when the sellers were being a little difficult. Anna kept me informed on a weekly basis and took most of the stress away from myself. Many thanks for all the help I was given. From the entire team.

Underwhelming service

Northwood let my mother's house under its guaranteed rent scheme for 4 years. The first issue was the huge discount to the rent they offered compared with the market price less their estate agency fee for a property that was easily let. The second was the lack of proper inspection resulting in an overgrown garden, fittings removed by tenants over time and not replaced/repaired. Poor quality repairs by Northwood's workmen, including fitting two unmatched worktops in the kitchen, failure to fit a replacement toilet that fitted against the wall, random boxing in of same to hide pipework and brackets, allowing more tenants to live in the property than were on the agreement, and returning the house in a dirty state with unkempt garden and broken fencing. Getting hold of the right person to discuss concerns with was a nightmare. Never again!
