I sold my home using Cheffins Ely in March 2024. With small agents it's often about one or two men or women. I'm 64. Cheffins have been around most of my life. Their resources and staff were reassuring. We sold to a vulnerable Man who had a raft of advisors to protect him. The sale was normal and progressed as expected. Then we were faced with multiple questions and a survey that raised more questions. We were two months into a bridging loan that was eroding our pension pot. On the eve of completion more queries seemed insurmountable. When all seemed lost Cheffins saved the day. They have a select team of experienced professionals who take over once your home is sold. Their job is to quickly establish a rapport with all parties and liase with each to make sure the sale concludes. They kept us informed. Just when we thought the sale was collapsing our Lady, Ms Neave Chambers took control. We had reached an impasse and the sale was dead on the eve of completion. Then I received an email from Neave. She said "this is not over." 9.15pm in the evening and Cheffins were in contact. Next day she negotiated with the buyer and his Solicitor. This went on all day. By 3.30pm an agreement was reached and we completed. When I asked Neave 'How did you do that?'. She replied 'I've been doing this for twenty five years'.
