Good experience dealing with Joe and the team to sell our house on the Byewaters estate. Secured a price above our expectations and within a short timeframe, enabling us to get a good deal on what we bought. Open and honest communication with the team throughout and all at a rate lower than the rest of the competition. Not the usual corporate approach and better for it. Only query was the cost to market our property for which an invoice arrived, this quickly vanished when raised. Also bought our property through the Croxley branch and can't recommend them highly enough. Chris and Tyler did a fantastic job, very personable and professional. One word of advice however to Sewell & Gardner is not to recommend 'When You Move' as conveyancers, very inefficient and process driven, pushing items not within their standard process back on you.

What used to be a part of quite a good estate agency network has turned out to be a branch with poor customer engagement due to perhaps the recent change of branch leadership. Not only do the different staff of same branch hold different views with same client, they also now lack client empathy and priority. If there was a half star possible I would have done that.

Don't get fooled by the past reviews if you are a first time buyer. Absolutely amateur agents. To be fair, they work really hard for the seller which isn't great if you are a buyer as they will continue to seek higher offers until contract sign date. Stay away, you've been warned!!

I wouldn't recommend this agent, as a property investor i have dealt with different solicitors, agents and vendors but the recent property i bought with them was the worst experience in 10years of buying properties. From the beginning i was advised that solicitors they use are extremely good (which wasn't the case), the vendor and a fellow employee (Tyler) and the agent were extremely unprofessional during the whole process and the parties were constantly blaming each other for mishaps or things not being progressed. no sense of creating a 'win win' situation for e.g. the vendor wanted to charge £100.00 for a fridge when you can buy a new one for £150.00. ridiculous! it wasn't about the price difference but rather no sense of commerciality. don't trust the solicitors they use (regardless of what the agent states) and don't trust the agents!
