Yet another junk mail from Belvoir clogging up the bins because it's a cheap senseless way of advertising. Really wish this wasn't allowed but they get away with it
They advertise a property for a price, and then after you start the application and are just about to move, they increase the price, saying that actually that was the price from the beginning. Almost giving you no choice than to accept their price... It happened to me, then after about 1 year a friend of mine had a similar problem with them... scammers
I would not recommend this company. The staff are rude and unhelpful. They are incapable of organising simple maintenance tasks. Refuse to give valuable feedback, do not support their tenants in any way. Very poor customer service and unprofessional manner.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
Really bad experience at this agency, I will put a claim
I would give them zero stars if I could. If they don't like the review I am more than happy to make the details public
I am a landlord and I used Belvoir hoping that I could have hassle free management. Unfortunately this was not the case, I ended up having to sort a lot of the management out mylsef One example being the yearly gas and boiler safety inspection. After having to remind Belvior via phone & email several times, I hoped that they could do their job. This seemed too much for them to cope with, so I had to book it all and liaise with the tennant myself. The Tennant also had several issues that Belvoir were unable to cope with, which again I had to sort out myself. I eventually got rid of Belvoir and ended being landed with a bill of nearly £1000 to remove them from the management of my property. But totally worth it though to get rid! The tenants are now much happier and I was shocked at the shear relief they had too that they didn’t have to deal with Belvoir. Basically Belvoir Corby are not value for money, they cannot manage property or Tennants effectively, and will wrap you up in contract fees too. I do not recommend Belvoir.
Worst company in Corby to rent from. Left living with a mouldy bathroom for nearly three years, with occasional maintenance just painting over the problem only for it to reappear a fortnight later. Oven did not function for a solid four months, and Belvoir did not act. Was left with option of takeaways or microwaveable food. Washing machine did not pass PAT test once during the tenancy, but was left in property to trip the electricity randomly when it was used. That meant that we could not leave a load in washing without supervision. When we moved in, we were expected to clean up after the last tenant. Carpets were stained, with burn marks, and the garage was full of maggots (apparently previous tenant was a fishing enthusiast), and we were left to discard all of previous tenant's seemingly unwanted property. Unprofessional company to deal with. When you call them to deal with a problem, apparently the person dealing with it is never in the office, but somehow they have answers after putting you on hold for a few seconds,
Avoid at all costs, they look after the interests of the tenants over the interests of the landlord. Had the property trashed twice, should have changed letting companies after the last tenant trashed the place. Am now around £7,000 in debt because of the last tenant. Belvoir never seemed to chase the rent from the tenant or could even be bothered most of the time. When the new letting agent had viewings and agreed a time to meet Belvoir at the property to gain access (all on the same day) they didn't even turn up. Leaving the potential tenants waiting outside. Could go on and on with the bad experiences, needless to say I am no longer with them and hope this makes potential land lords think twice about having them as an agent.
